Much of South Alabama is at risk for severe storms this afternoon and evening, and the National Weather Service in Alabama has issued a Tornado Watch in effect until 9 p.m. tonight.
More severe weather is possible Tuesday night (April 29). Strong to severe storms are in the forecast which are capable of producing tornadoes and/or flooding.

The National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center has issued a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION TORNADO WATCH in effect until 9 p.m. tonight for much of North and West Alabama. This watch now includes the city of Tuscaloosa.
