What started as a challenge among friends in North Carolina has transformed into a nationally publicized charity race, and a growing tradition in the city of Tuscaloosa.
I need to hurry and get this gallery of photos posted up before I slip into a sugar coma. Today (2/28) was the 3rd Annual Tuscaloosa Krispy Kreme Challenge which serves as the year's biggest fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Alabama.
Saturday morning at 10am, it's the 3rd Annual Tuscaloosa Krispy Kreme Challenge at Government Plaza downtown. Once again hundreds will step up to take the challenge of 2 miles and 12 doughnuts, while raising money and awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Alabama.
For the 3rd year Tuscaloosa runners and doughnut lovers alike will have the chance to run, chow down and compete, all while raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of W. Alabama!
