Locally, our high schools have developed some of the future stars of tomorrow. In particular, Hillcrest High School produced both of this week's Walter Camp National FBS Players of the Week. Former Tuscaloosa County High and Hillcrest High School linebacker, Jacquez Jones announced via his social media that he will be transferring to the University of Kentucky to continue his football career. Jones a standout linebacker for the Ole Miss Rebels the last two seasons becomes the latest player to take advantage of the SEC's new rules on intraconference transfers.
