Walking Dead companion series Fear The Walking Dead started earlier in the zombie apocalypse, but fans wondered how long before the two became indistinguishable. That day may come in Season 4, as Fear’s reboot now includes The Walking Dead’s own director of photography.

The Walking Dead can’t seem to shake its troubles, so might Fear take over as the fan-favorite? The fourth season’s quasi-reboot is looking pretty strong in new footage, as Morgan jumps ship to the newer series and Madison ups her game a few levels.

Months after reports of a crossover, The Walking Dead confirms Lennie James’ Morgan will rejoin the franchise in a crossover role on Season 4 of Fear The Walking Dead.

We’re now eight seasons into The Walking Dead, and three into companion series Fear The Walking Dead, so there’s no pretending the world is fighting back. An extended new featurette for the latter’s June premiere cements as much, also revealing exactly what became of Madison, Travis, Nick, Strand and Alicia since Season 2.

The Walking Dead may have come to a close, but Fear will rise anew this June. Season 3 of Fear The Walking Dead has officially set a double-premiere for Season 3, also releasing its first footage and new photos of the companion series’ return.

Walking Dead companion series Fear The Walking Dead wrapped up its second season with a few hints of the world leaning farther into the zombie apocalypse, but fans will always wonder if the two series would ever cross over. Robert Kirkman even offered a tantalizing hint at New York Comic-Con, suggesting a Fear-ful origin for one of the comics’ current villains.
