Every generation has their Batman. Depending on the age of the person you ask, you’ll discover Adam West fans, Michael Keaton fans, Kevin Conroy fans and, if you stare into the darkness long enough, a George Clooney fan. For a certain group of fans, Christian Bale’s take on the Dark Knight always be the definitive interpretation, with his gravelly growl and trademark intensity instantly beating out whatever Ben Affleck brings to the character in ‘Batman vs. Superman.’ Some of these people are going to resent Affleck no matter what. And, in a surprising turn of events, it looks like they can all rally around Bale himself.

First there was Chibatman, the Batman impersonator who rides around Japan on a replica of the Batpod from 'The Dark Knight.' Now there's Australian Batman Zac Mihajlovic, who rides around in a customized Batmobile built to replicate the one from Tim Burton's 1989 'Batman' film -- but this isn't just any Batmobile replica or any Batman impersonator. This vehicle is perfectly street-legal, and this Batman uses his persona to spread cheer to sick kids.

Even the most passionate critics of 'Man of Steel' tend to agree that Hans Zimmer's bombastic and emotional score is a highlight of the film, so it wasn't surprising at all when he was invited back to score 'Batman vs. Superman.' What is surprising is how he's choosing to go about it. In keeping with the confrontational aspect of the film, Zimmer will provide all of Superman's music and another composer will provide the score for the Caped Crusader.

Comic book fans surely remember the '90s. It was a strange time to be a superhero fan. A dark time. A time when Joel Schumacher was directing Batman movies and baffling the entire world. A decade before Christopher Nolan made 'Batman Begins,' Schumacher made 'Batman Forever,' which featured Jim Carrey as The Riddler and Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face. No one remembers either performance fondly, but it turns out that there's some pretty interesting stories regarding their casting. It turns out that Jones did not like Carrey. Like, at all.

'The Dark Knight' is one of the most popular superhero movies ever. Heck, it might even be one of the most popular movies of any genre in the past 10 years. But, even if you think you've seen and read all there is on 'The Dark Knight,' you still might not know everything there is to know about one of the biggest movies of all-time.

We've been deservedly hard on FOX's laughable 'Gotham' in its inaugural three episodes, but with ratings across the board proving notably strong, the network has officially decided to make the best of a Bat-situation. Despite the show's own stars touting the virtue of a 16-episode order, the Batman prequel drama has officially been extended to a full 22 episodes for its first run.

What happens in Hall H stays in Hall H ... at least when it comes to 'Batman vs. Superman.' During Comic-Con 2014, fans at the Warner Bros. panel got to see the first 'Batman vs. Superman' teaser trailer, featuring a suited up Ben Affleck with glowing blue eyes glaring at Henry Cavill's hovering Superman, ready to do battle. However, if fans were hoping to see this same footage online shortly after, you're out of luck.

Practically everyone loves Batman, thanks in part to Christopher Nolan's recent 'Dark Knight' take, so it's difficult to imagine any major disinterest in Warner Bros.' new Batman Exhibit, which will be on display as part of the studio's VIP tour. For $54 a pop, you can journey through the cinematic history of the Caped Crusader, examining props, ogling costumes and remembering the good times ('The Dark Knight') and the very bad times ('Batman and Robin').

The Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area Foundation truly set the bar for themselves. In fulfilling the dream of 5-year-old Miles, an epic Batman fan in remission from leukemia, the organization transformed San Francisco into a modern-day Gotham City on Friday and called on Miles to come save the day.
