SZA Reacts to Being on Barack Obama’s 2017 Playlist, and It’s the Best
Every year, Barack Obama curates a playlist of his favorite songs of the year (because he's awesome), and he's apparently a SZA fan. The former POTUS included "Broken Clocks" on his lauded 2017 20-song collection, and naturally the 28-year-old Grammy nominee freaked out, because who wouldn't?
The singer posted a screenshot on Instagram of the text conversation where she realized she had been included on the playlist, with the amazing caption: "My actual reaction vs. something really sane and well written lol #brokenclocks."
If you weren't already a SZA fan, this adorable post has got to sway you (how could it not?!).
The sensual R&B artist is nominated for five Grammys this year, including Best R&B Song for her single, "Supermodel," Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Love Galore," featuring Travis Scott, Best R&B Performance for "The Weekend," Best Urban Contemporary Album for her critically acclaimed Ctrl and Best New Artist. Tune in to the awards show on January 28 to see if she wins!
