The Tide for Troops crew is sending a little bit of home to our armed forces stationed overseas... one "Roll Tide!" at a time. You can help Tide for Troops when you eat at Buffalo Wild Wings in T-Town from 4pm to 7pm this Friday.15% of all sales will be donated to Tide for Troops, and former Bama players Prince Wimbley and David Palmer will be on-site signing autographs and meeting fans. Door prizes and other surprises are planned for the evening as well.

The fundraiser also serves as a kick-off for the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball match at Rhodes Stadium. The Wounded Warrior Team will face off against a team of University of Alabama all-star athletes and is free to attend. I spoke to Justin Crisler, Tide for Troops founder, about the weekend.

"We were asked to be a part of a wonderful event happening Saturday evening in Tuscaloosa for the Wounded Warriors Amputee Softball Team who will be playing former Bama athletes called the Bama All-Stars," Crisler said. "Director of Operations for the UA Softball team approached our organization and asked if her Brothers unit [which is deployed] could receive shirts. We immediately sent these shirts to these heroes and then Mrs. Harris asked if we would like to provide our shirts to the Bama players at this game. We were honored to do this and will also be donating our shirts to the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team members as well. Our group has been asked to take a tour of the football stadium and the Mal Moore Facility on Saturday morning as well. This is a wonderful treat for our group and we are more than excited to be participating in these events happening in Tuscaloosa this weekend!"
