See Everyone Starting the 2015 West Alabama Heart Walk in Tuscaloosa

This year's West Alabama Heart was a huge success! This annual event held at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater featured around 1,500 registered walkers/runners for the 5K course along the River Walk. Watch as everyone gets started!

The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association's premiere event for raising funds to save lives from this country's No. 1 and No. 4 killers - heart disease and stroke. Designed to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living, the Heart Walk creates an environment that's fun and rewarding for the entire family.

This year's event fell on Valentine's Day, how fitting! It was a chilly morning, but it warmed up nicely for a beautiful day to be outside for the cause!
