Alabama men's basketball is putting together a strong non-conference schedule ahead of the program's most anticipated season in years.

The Crimson Tide will travel to Brooklyn in November for the 2017 Barclays Center Classic and will play two games against BYU and Minnesota, according to FanRag Sports. The matchup with the Gophers has a good chance to feature two top-25 teams with Richard Pitino's team coming off a 5-seed in last year's NCAA Tournament and Avery Johnson's already showing up in preseason polls.

The event will take place on November 24-25, which is the Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. The fourth team traveling to Brooklyn is UMass, but Alabama will only play two opponents on the trip.

Along with the Barclays Center Classic, the Crimson Tide is already set to play a neutral site game against Memphis, Oklahoma in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, and Texas will travel to Alabama to finish off a home-and-home series.

Alabama will have its deepest roster in years when the team returns to the hardwood this fall. Sophomores Braxton Key and Dazon Ingram return along with a talented freshmen class led by five-star Collin Sexton. On Monday, the five freshmen reported to campus.

The University of Alabama should release the full non-conference schedule sometime later this summer.
