Both popular and loathed by her onscreen peers, the mean girl character is a favorite archetype of any quintessential high school movie, and with good reason: Usually gorgeous, cruel and narcissistic, this particularly nasty, antagonistic type of popular girl is fun to watch, especially when it comes time for poetic justice.
