The Tuscaloosa Regional Air Show doesn't begin until Saturday, but the Blue Angels made their first appearance over the city on Thursday.

The six Navy pilots flew in formation over The University of Alabama and surrounding areas as part of a photo shoot before they made their way to the site of the air show this weekend. The planes will be on display both Saturday and Sunday and are scheduled to perform at 3 PM both days.

You can see a full schedule of events for this weekend here and get all of the information on parking here. The city of Tuscaloosa recommends that you use the free shuttles to get in and out of the air show. They will be running frequently so it will be your most efficient means of transportation.
