Oh Sweet Goodness, What is Going on Here?

Today, I walked into the station to a sweet surprise, a box full of Krispy Kreme's new Ghostbuster movie-themed doughnuts!

I was offered one of these ghoulish creations. It had Krispy Kreme filling, along with a vanilla frosting top, with a green splat and Ghostbusters sugar logo. It was great. This is coming from a guy who thought at one time, no more donuts, ever!! Yeah, that was after that crazy Krispy Kreme Challenge here in Tuscaloosa. The challenge, run a mile, eat 12 doughnuts, then run another mile. Wow, not as easy as it sounds. I could have stopped, but only those completing the challenge would get a medal and those stupid bragging rights- I had to finish! I burped doughnuts for days. Again, a tough challenge.

I'm over that now, and back to my doughnut loving ways. And, yes, I would do that challenge again for Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Alabama. I tried it and liked it! The end, right? No.

As everyone was leaving late this afternoon, a co-worker came up to the studio to let me know, there are more of those donuts over by the water fountain. I told him, no thanks. I have to watch my Speedo bikini figure- Ha! Bikini figure, right. Then, something really strange kicked in. This wild craving to get one of those donuts. I could taste it. What is going on here? Just the mere fact of knowing they were sitting there, just waiting for me to come by and visit. I couldn't resit... I did!
