More ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Photos Prove Winter Is Here

Time will tell if HBO attempts to keep Game of Thrones Season 7 so far under-wraps as last year, but the cast are almost literally undercover in new photos. See the most wintery look at Season 7 yet, featuring some familiar faces not yet seen in earlier promos.

HBO released a score of new Game of Thrones Season 7 photos (h/t Entertainment Weekly), including our first look at Richard Dormer’s Berric Dondarrion leading Sandor Clegane further north. There’s also Arya at what could be a certain Winter-y, Fell-y location, but don’t get your hopes up:

Elsewhere of Game of Thrones Season 7, now set for a July 16 premiere, a list of directors and runtimes has been announced along with rumors of some major set pieces and battles (with record-setting fire stunts) and airplane-sized dragons. Harry Potter star Jim Broadbent gave us surprising details of his “significant” role, while several notable returns have likely been revealed, along with unexpected MLB and musical cameos, and one recast.
