Weather Update for November 29, 2019

Today for Black Friday, you can expect mostly cloudy conditions and a high hear 68.  Tonight, the mostly cloudy conditions continue with a low around 51.

Weekend outlook: Saturday, there will be morning showers and then gradually becoming partly sunny with a near 73.  Then rain returns for the evening with a possibility of a thunderstorm with a low near 55.  Sunday, there will be sunny skies and high near 63.  Sunday night, there is a low near 36 with mostly clear skies.  At the time of this blog post, the National Weather Service has determined a marginal risk for severe weather for parts of West Alabama.

The day after Thanksgiving is known to be Black Friday, which is traditionally a shopping for deals day.  If you are one of those shoppers, I hope you get all the deals you can.  One of the origins of the term Black Friday, according to TheBlackFriday.com, “relates to businesses recording their losses in red ink and gains in black.”
