Milo’s Burger Shop Celebrates 75th Birthday with 75-Cent Burger Deal in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

A legendary fast food chain is celebrating 75 years of serving some of the best burgers in Alabama with a deal that's almost too good to be true.

Milo's Hamburgers was founded in 1946 by Birmingham resident Milo Carlton. Locals fell in love with the burgers (and their secret sauce!) and Carlton began opening franchise locations in the early 1980's.

As a Birmingham brat myself, I grew up eating Milo's. I remember their ICONIC commercials and can still sing this entire BOP word-for-word.

Oh man-- watching this commercial brings back some MEMORIES. First of all: watch it again and peep those iconic 90's teal-and-purple cups. Second of all: the clothes! I remember being in a Milo's by the Wildwood Mall off Lakeshore and ROYALLY pissing off my mom because I got Milo's sauce on my high-rise pleated white khaki shorts.

ANYWAY

How can you go wrong with a Mega Meal? That sweet tea? Those fries? THE PIE? I am ride-or-die in my Milo's fandom, y'all.
