"It's hard to get away from 'The Situation,'" reality TV star Mike Sorrentino admitted to the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning show.

Chatting with the show, Sorrentino likened his name juggling to what WWE wrestler Dwayne Johnson went through on his rise to becoming a household name.

"The Rock was known for WWE, but eventually it was Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and now it's just Dwayne Johnson," Sorrentino explained. "Maybe that could happen for me."

Sorrentino is gearing up for the launch of his new reality show, "The Sorrentinos," which sees the former "Jersey Shore" star in an environment far removed from the GTL-tinged craziness of Seaside Heights, New Jersey: hanging out with his family.

The show features Mike's brothers Marc and Frank, sister Melissa and mother Linda and deals with The Situation's post-Jersey Shore life, including his stint in rehab.

"You saw The Situation, the wild, crazy alter ego, cocky, confident side that almost everyone has to some degree, but mine was magnified," said Sorrentino, adding that there was more to him than that: "I'm a family man, I'm a businessman, I'm a brother."

Sorrentino also touched on the recent tanning salon brawl he was involved in. Listen to the entire interview with Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino below.

"The Sorrentinos" premieres Tuesday, July 15 at 9 p.m. CST.
