Marco is Now a Hurricane

Anticipation is building around the Gulf of Mexico as Marco has developed into a hurricane.  This has happened before the potential landfall, which is still projected to aim for the coast of Louisiana.  There is the potential for Hurricane Marco to head straight inland or make a westward turn along the Louisiana coast.

According to the National Weather Service, “hurricane conditions, life-threatening storm surge, and heavy rainfall are expected from Marco along portions of the Gulf Coast beginning on Monday.”  Also, let’s not forget we still have Laura making its track towards the Louisiana coast as well.

We will continue to monitor and bring you updates as necessary.
