Former Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Jameson Williams is considered one of the most interesting prospects in this year's upcoming NFL Draft. Williams was electric in his single season playing for the Crimson Tide, utilizing his game-breaking speed to score numerous big play touchdowns.

Unfortunately for the 6-foot-2 speedster, he tore his ACL in the national championship game against Georgia in January. The injury immediately put into question where Williams would fall amongst the other wide receivers in this class.

The Alliance Management Group recently provided an update on Williams' knee, offering a two-minute clip on Twitter showing off the speed demon's recovery. Williams is seen running, high stepping, squatting and even catching passes while mildly defended.

Where will Williams fall in this week's draft? Likely not very far.

ESPN's Todd McShay reported on Monday that the Philadelphia Eagles have their sights set on Williams as their primary receiving target at pick No. 15 in the first round. Should he be selected by Philadelphia it would unite him with former Alabama superstars Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith and Landon Dickerson as the NFC East squad loads its offense.

The Athletic's Dan Brugler ranked Williams the second best wide receiver in this year's draft even after taking his injury into consideration. He is one of five receivers that Brugler gave a first round grade, two of which, Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson, he played with at his former college Ohio State.

While Williams is ahead of schedule for his recovery, he likely won't be available for Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season. However his speed and impact on defenses will still make teams think twice before passing up such a dynamic weapon.

The first round of the NFL Draft will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. on ESPN and can be followed on Tide1009.com as well as the Tide1009 App for live coverage.
