Local RV Business Helps Health Care Workers

Here is some good news amid the COVID-19 pandemic with the RV’s for MD’s.  This is a Facebook Group that assists the connection of RV owners and frontline healthcare workers.  It is in hopes of connecting the two groups to help provide some temporary living accommodations for healthcare workers; a Tuscaloosa RV business plans on participating in this effort.  According to WBMA, “The Wooleys own eight RVs and plan to help medical workers here in Alabama. Their first rental will go out to a nurse named Katie Sutter from Cullman. She's been working at New York City's Bellevue Hospital in their adult intensive care unit.”  As Ms. Sutter makes her way back to Alabama on April 24th, there will be a need for her to be quarantined for fourteen days.  Sutter stated in the WBMA article that "This allows me to be as close to family as possible without having any actual interaction.”  This yet another reason why I love living in West Alabama because we are most definitely Tuscaloosa Strong.
