Let’s NOT Talk About Jennifer Lawrence’s Fall Last Night at the Oscars [VIDEO]

Jennifer Lawrence tripped over her dress last night as she made her way to the stage to accept her Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Oscars last night. Big Whoop. Let's talk about how interesting, original, and funny this girl is instead.

The clip above is JLaw at her post-win press conference. She's articulate, candid, and hysterical. She had me laughing from the start: "Is this an auction?" LOL, girl.

Real talk: I love Jennifer Lawrence. She's a talented actress, but she's so genuine. She loves trashy reality TV; she wrecked her car once because she thought she saw Honey Boo Boo. She loves junk food.

And she's an advocate for positive body image. She's refused to buy in to crazy beauty standards--for her own good and for the good of her young fans. In an interview with Elle Magazine, she said, "I’m never going to starve myself for a part… I don’t want little girls to be like, ‘Oh, I want to look like Katniss, so I’m going to skip dinner. That’s something I was really conscious of during training, when you’re trying to get your body to look exactly right. I was trying to get my body to look fit and strong- not thin and underfed."

It's so refreshing to see someone so real in the spotlight today. JLaw is awesome-- and now, she's an Oscar winner. Case closed.
