Large Crowd Of Fans Come To Gordo Steve & DC Tour Stop
It was the second stop on the "Steve & DC Hometowns We LOVE Tour 2022" presented by Tuscaloosa Toyota.
And it seems to be growing with each and every tour stop.
The morning show, heard weekdays on WFFN-FM (95.3 The Bear) from 5am-10am was set up in front of the Gordo Elementary School.

Michael Anderson and David Desantis represented the title sponsor, Tuscaloosa Toyota.
David Desantis, of Tuscaloosa Toyota brought the broadcast to an emotional peak as he generously wrote checks to Gordo area fundraising campaigns designed to help the children in the region.
Justin Trull, from Gordo as well as on staff at Tuscaloosa Toyota was a hit as he called out some of the most famous residents for a round of light-hearted joking and fun.
Trull, might want to consider a career in politics with the command of the crowd he displayed. The staff of Gordo Elementary, including Principal Jeff Campbell, Vice Principal Byron Fair and faculty members Dana Holifield, Eva Sullivan and Sandra Wood.
A young man from the Kindergarten class, Faden Fife, stole the show with his appearance on the Steve & DC Show, as he had plenty to say about his favorite teachers and classmates.
Several staffers from the high school also were on hand, including new Gordo Football coach Gus Smith, Principal Mark Capps, Head baseball coach Johnathan Pate and the Superintendent James Chapman.
Local pastor David Blakeney was another big hit of the day, as he was able to win the game "Make Diesel Bark".
Diesel, is the official morning show Head of Security. Diesel was another star at this stop on the tour.
Rev. Chris Washington from New Beginnings led the morning prayer on the show followed by a stellar version of "Amazing Grace".
