Game of Throneseighth season may have won big at the Emmys Sunday night (September 22), including taking home the night's biggest award: Outstanding Drama Series; however, one of the show's biggest stars has admittedly not watched its controversial final season.

After the win the cast headed to the press room, where Kit Harington (aka Jon Snow) divulged that he has yet to watch the show's final six episodes.

"I still haven't seen the show," he revealed after being asked about the pushback GoT's ending received from fans. "So that's how I dealt with that controversy. I haven't seen the final season."

"But I know what it took to shoot it," he continued. "And it was hard and everyone put their love and effort into it. And controversy — I think for us, we knew what we were doing was right, story-wise. And we knew that it was right for the characters because we lived with them for 10 years. So controversy for us didn't really affect us."

Speaking of controversy, fans were just about as pissed about Emilia Clarke not winning an Emmy for her portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen as they were about the character's fate.
