Kickoff Time Set for Alabama v Ole Miss
Alabama (3-0,1-0) is set to take on the Ole Miss Rebels (3-0) on Saturday, Oct. 2nd at 2:30 p.m. CST in their first home SEC matchup of the season.
These two teams squared off last season in a game for the ages where Alabama emerged victorious by a margin of 63-48, but Ole Miss, like Florida this past weekend, proved the Crimson Tide to be flawed. Alabama went on to dominate the rest of their schedule en route to another national title in 2020, but will that trend continue this season?
The all-time record heavily favors Alabama with the Crimson Tide holding a 52-10-2 record against Ole Miss, but the Rebels have an excellent team this season and should have some confidence after a competitive game last year.
The Crimson Tide likely have their hands full against the against Ole Miss whose offense has looked nearly unstoppable so far this season. Defensive concerns from their game against Florida will need to be addressed and tightened up if the Crimson Tide hope to win in front of their home crowd on October 2nd.
As for the rest of the SEC, kickoff times across the conference were announced with the primetime slots being filled by Florida at Kentucky and Mississippi State at Texas A&M.
