Kentuck Festival of the Arts Weather Outlook
Get ready for some cooler temperatures as a much anticipated cold front is getting closer and closer to Alabama. According to the National Weather Service Birmingham, Friday in West Alabama, you can expect “increasing clouds with showers arriving in the northwest. Highs in the mid-80s. Showers move southeast across the area tonight with lows in the 60s southeast with values falling into the 50s northwest.” The time frame for rain will roughly occur between 10 p.m. and Saturday at 4 a.m.
James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said that on Saturday, it “will be a mostly sunny, breezy, and much cooler day for Alabama. The high will be in the 66-71 degree range with a stiff north breeze of 10-20 mph... gusting to 25 mph at times. Temperatures will drop well down in the 40s by daybreak Sunday with a clear sky and diminishing wind; some colder spots could actually reach the upper 30s for the first time this season. Then, Sunday will be a picture-perfect autumn day with sunshine in full supply along with a high around 70 degrees.”
