Justin Thomas Reacts to Tiger Woods Car Accident

A teary and emotional Justin Thomas addressed the media this afternoon regarding Tiger Woods' car accident in California this morning.

Thomas and Woods have a strong friendship, with Thomas saying that he considers Woods to be one of his closest friends on the entire PGA Tour.

Thomas learned of the accident just minutes before he was scheduled to join a zoom meeting press conference for this week's upcoming WGC-Workday Championship.

"I'm sick to my stomach", Thomas said. "I just hope he's alright. I'm just worried about his kids, I'm sure they're struggling right now."

Woods was described as "conscious and responsive" to emergency personnel by the LA County Sherrif's Department. There is no evidence of any impairment at this time. Woods' agent has said that he was in surgery on Tuesday afternoon after suffering "multiple leg injuries".
