It was a life-changing week for former Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Jameson Williams. Not only was the electric receiver selected with the 12th pick in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions but he also got a chance to partner up with a popular restaurant as well.

Williams teamed up with fellow first round pick Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner to put in a shift with the fast food chicken finger chain Raising Cane's ahead of the NFL Draft.

Williams spent time taking drive-through orders, taking payments from the customers and ensuring that each patron left with a smile on their face. What better way to get the Las Vegas residents excited about the NFL Draft than to have two of its biggest stars serving the public some crispy, golden-fried chicken tenders?

"Chicken, chicken, chicken -- What combo you picking?" rhymed Jamo on the drive-through microphone.

There is only one Raising Cane's location in Tuscaloosa but the Louisiana-based chain is incredibly popular. In fact the chain restaurant announced that it would be following Williams and opening up its first location in Michigan.

If Williams is missing the fried chicken flavor in the Motor City, he will be able to take a short drive to East Lansing to get his fix.

The 12th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft was Micah Parsons to the Dallas Cowboys. He signed a 4-year deal worth $17 million. Williams should expect his own rookie contract to be similar to the Cowboys' linebacker, meaning his days working the fast-food drive through line are now well behind him.
