UPDATE: Spirit Halloween to Open 2 Local Stores, Will Return to University Mall
Spirit Halloween will open two stores in the Tuscaloosa area, not just one, employees confirmed Wednesday.
Earlier this week, the Thread reported that the seasonal costume and decorations store was open for business in Northport at the former home of the recently closed Tuesday Morning, but that was only half the story.
On Wednesday, store employees reached out to the Thread and said Spirit is also working to build out a second store in the former Sears in University Mall, where they did business in 2020 and 2021.
The Mall location on this side of the river is expected to open in the next two weeks. The store in Northport is already open for business.
As the Halloween season approaches, locals can also check out the open-all-year Party Wow in McFarland Plaza in the former home of Stein Mart.
