The Waffle House on the Tuscaloosa Strip got kudos on a national platform this week after a video showing the staff there join a little girl's singalong went viral.

The touching moment, captured by local plastic surgeon Chelsea Wallace, showed her 3-year-old Foster singing and dancing to "Let It Go" from Disney's Frozen.

Staff at the restaurant, perhaps more relaxed while the area's 40,000 college students are on summer break, warmed Wallace's heart by joining the fun instead of shutting the girls down.

"I’ve said it before, Tuscaloosa is the best city in the country," Wallace wrote on Instagram. "The people live life with an unmatched passion. Every season has a distinct personality. I am truly thankful to call this place home."

Her touching post was liked more than 1,000 times and drew love from the official Waffle House accounts on the platform, but also caught the eye of producers at ABC's Good Morning America, who highlighted the story Monday.

Wallace told GMA the staff at the Waffle House on University Boulevard knows her and her daughters by name and makes each visit to the diner special, which the company said was part of making restaurants "a Waffle Home" for customers.
