Tuscaloosa Man Accused of Making Terrorist Threat To Probation Office
A Tuscaloosa man was arrested this week after police say his threatening phone call led to the evacuation of the local office of the state's Bureau of Pardons and Paroles.
According to court documents obtained by the Thread, an employee at the Bureau's Tuscaloosa Field Office received a call Monday from 34-year-old Jeremy Hyche Jordan.
Jordan "made threats to kill two officers and shoot up the probation office," according to the court documents.
The threats led to the building being evacuated on Monday and disrupting classes being taught there to new employees or those in need of continuing education.
Hyche Jordan was arrested the following day and charged with making terrorist threats, a Class C felony, and placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where his bond has been set at $15,000.
