A Tuscaloosa County man was arrested this week and accused of selling child pornography to other users on Twitter, according to court documents obtained by the Thread.

A deposition filed Tuesday afternoon says a local investigator received information from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that a person in Tuscaloosa County may have disseminated child pornography, which is a felony.

Police obtained a search warrant and on Monday, they seized two gaming consoles and a Dell laptop from the residence of Keithan Casey Levins, an 18-year-old.

Later Monday afternoon, Levins met with investigators and told them he had destroyed his own cell phone and thrown it into the woods, but began to cooperate with the investigation.

Levins was taken to the sheriff's department downtown, where police say he confessed to downloading pornography he knew depicted underaged victims, uploading videos to Twitter and charging interested users cash to send them more videos.

Levins has been charged with three counts of disseminating child pornography, each of which is a Class B felony carrying a $10,000 bond.

Levins was no longer listed as an inmate in the Tuscaloosa County Jail Tuesday afternoon, which may indicate he has been released from custody.
