Alabama Football traveled 870 miles north on Friday for an 11:00 a.m. matchup in Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday with the Wisconsin Badgers.

It's the first time the Crimson Tide have traveled to Big 10 country since 2011, when Alabama traveled to Penn State, earning a 27-11 victory over the Nittany Lions.

Alabama is currently slated as a 16.5-point favorite over the Badgers in their home stadium. According to Brett McMurphy of Action News Network, it marks the 12th time over the past 35 years that Wisconsin is a double-digit underdog at home.

The good news for Alabama?

Wisconsin has outright lost the previous 11 matchups as a double-digit underdog at home.

What were some of the games Wisconsin was a home underdog for?

Wisconsin vs. Ohio State - 2023

The Badgers were a 14.5-point underdog at home to the Buckeyes. Ohio State won 24-10, with 407 yards and 23 first downs.

Wisconsin vs. Ohio State - 2016

The Badgers were a 10-point underdog at home to the Buckeyes. Ohio State won 30-23, with 411 yards and 23 first downs.

Wisconsin had an unprecedented run, going eight years since being a home underdog. They were previously home underdogs against Ohio State (who else) in 2008, where the Badgers lost that game 20-17.

This bodes well for Alabama, which closed as a 16.5-point favorite over Wisconsin ahead of the 11:00 a.m. kickoff.

Alabama's money line is set at -800, and the over/under is set at 48.5 points.

The ESPN Matchup Predictor gives Alabama a 92.2% chance to win over Wisconsin.
