According to On3's Steve Wiltfong, the number one quarterback recruit in the class of 2027, Elijah Haven, will be in attendance at Bryant Denny Stadium to watch the Crimson Tide face top-ranked Georgia on Saturday, September 28th.

Elijah Haven will be among several other high-profile visitors in Tuscaloosa to watch the Tide take on the Bulldogs, with former United States President and 2024 President-Elect Donald Trump confirming on Wednesday that he will be in attendance.

Haven, who is currently in his sophomore season at Dunham School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is coming off an impressive freshman season in which he had a completion percentage of 67%. According to Haven's 247 Scouting Report, the 6 foot 4 210 pound quarterback passed for over 2,000 yards, threw 35 touchdowns and only gave up two interceptions while leading Dunham to a 6-2A Championship.

With his ability to do it all, the highly ranked class of 2027 quarterback epitomizes a dual threat. Haven not only destroyed defenses through the air last season, but he also excelled on the ground, accumulating 641 running yards and 12 rushing touchdowns to cap off his freshman season.

Haven who will be visiting the Tide for the first time on September 28th will be in LSU this upcoming weekend to watch the Tigers clash off against the UCLA Bruins in Death Valley.

Ole Miss currently has a slight advantage in Haven's recruitment process, according to On3's Recruiting Prediction Meter, with the Rebels having a 25.8% chance of signing the top-ranked quarterback. Alabama has not been very involved in Haven's recruiting, but it appears that the Tide is picking up and gaining ground with the Baton Rouge native, as indicated by his announcement to visit the Tide in the coming weeks.

Haven, who is still in the early stages of his recruitment, will have plenty of time to connect with Kalen Deboer and the Alabama Crimson Tide staff, who hope to add the number one quarterback prospect to their 2027 class, which is currently ranked first in the nation and includes 4 star Edge's Jabarrius Garror and Ba'Roc Willis.
