Prior to halftime, Zaay Green reached a career milestone, surpassing 400 assists in the first quarter. At halftime, she had recorded three rebounds, two assists and eight points, and expectations are high for her to further enhance her stats by the game's conclusion.

Since transferring from Arkansas Pine-Bluff, Green has made a significant impact. Coach Kristy Curry frequently praises her, highlighting her scoring ability, defensive skills, and overall contributions as vital to the success of the 2024-25 Crimson Tide team.
