Alabama Offensive Coordinator Nominated for Award

Tuscaloosa, AL - Alabama Football is one of the top-scoring teams in the country, regardless of the struggles the Crimson Tide has faced this season. Nick Sheridan was dealt an odd hand, initially being hired as Alabama's tight end coach, with Ryan Grubb being named the offensive coordinator when Kalen DeBoer was initially hired at Alabama.

Grubb departed Tuscaloosa less than a month later, being named the offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks. Sheridan was named the offensive coordinator in Tuscaloosa, along with JaMarcus Shephard being named co-offensive coordinator.

Nick Sheridan has been nominated for the Broyles Award, awarded annually to the best non-head coach in college football each season.

Sheridan is one of 65 coaches nominated for the award.
