The Alabama basketball team is having one of its best seasons ever as the Tide is currently ranked No. 4 nationally and is undefeated in the early portions of SEC play.

Alabama and Auburn fans famously don't get along and in basketball it's no different. The Tigers currently boast the longest active home-court winning streak (28) and have two winnable games remaining before hosting the Crimson Tide in Neville Arena on Saturday, Feb. 11.

Last year's matchup in The Jungle became an Auburn blowout (100-81) but this year's contest looks to be a lot more competitive.

One Alabama basketball player took to Twitter on Friday and said not so fast.

Yes, click on the tweet above to see Bama Central's Blake Byler's screenshot of Alabama senior Jahvon Quinerly calling for a 30-point victory over the Auburn Tigers.

It didn't take long for Auburn sophomore Johni Broome to respond to JQ with a clown emoji, but the online drama didn't stop there.

Quinerly, deleted his Twitter account after this interaction but that didn't stop an Auburn fan from finding his account on Instagram and continuing the trash talk in the direct messages.

It has undoubtedly been an emotional week for the Alabama Crimson Tide basketball program considering the nature of the tragedy its facing. It appears as if the emotion and the rivalry may have gotten the better of the Alabama senior this week.

A 30-point victory would not be out of the realm of possibility as the Crimson Tide has already won a game this season by 40. The Tide's largest margin of victory against the Auburn Tigers came in a 94-53 win in 2005.

Alabama is set to play its next game on Saturday. The Tide is on the road to take on Missouri at 5:00 p.m. CT.
