Alabama Basketball Schedules Familiar Opponent
Alabama Men's Basketball will face off against a familiar face this season during its non-conference schedule.
According to Blake Byler of BamaCentral, Alabama will face Arkansas State on Nov. 8, making it the last unknown game on Alabama's non-conference schedule.
For the second straight season, former Alabama assistant coach Bryan Hodgson will return to Tuscaloosa to coach a game against his former team. Last season, Hodsgon and the Red Wolves played the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa in a game Alabama won 89-65.
Hodgson spent four seasons in Tuscaloosa, arriving with Nate Oats from Buffalo. He took the head coaching job at Arkansas State after the 2022-2023 season. In his first season as the head coach, Hodgson totaled a 20-17 record and made the Sun Belt Championship Game. He was one win away from an NCAA Tournament berth in his first season.
If all reports hold, then Alabama's non-conference schedule is complete, and set to be one of the toughest in the country.
