According to a post via social media, Alabama kicker Will Reichard proposed to his high school sweetheart over the weekend and is now engaged.

Reichard and his new fiance Amelia both attended Hoover High School and she followed Will to Tuscaloosa so they'd continue going to school together following graduation in 2019.

Reichard was ranked as the No. 1 kicker in the country coming out of Hoover and officially won the starting job for Alabama as a true freshman.

A hip injury kept him sidelined for the majority of his first season in Tuscaloosa, however, he radiated next-level talent and poise as a sophomore, going 14-for-14 on field goals and making all 84 of his extra point attempts en route to a national title.

Last season, Reichard led the SEC in total points (137) after only missing one extra point attempt throughout 15 appearances for the Tide.

With two years of college eligibility remaining, Reichard still currently holds onto two kicking records in the historic Alabama football stat book. While being ranked No. 7 in total field goals made, he holds the highest career FG completion percentage (81.6%) and is tied with Jeremy Shelley (2012) as only the second kicker to have a perfect season at the position.
