Plenty of people in Alabama seem to think so today.

In 2020, Coach Saban was being interviewed by ESPN and seemingly declared that he would never get involved in political matters.

It's 2022 and it appears he changed his mind.

This all stems from the Freedom To Vote Act, a bill that Coach Saban supports.

This morning on the Steve & DC Show (95.3 The Bear) the topic drew the ire of many Tuscaloosa/Birmingham citizens.

It even led to Alabama Secretary Of State John Merrill calling the show to give his take on the topic.
