The perfect French Manicure is now just seconds away thanks to this insane beauty hack I discovered this weekend. Getting flawless nails has never been easier thanks to my new method--and you won't believe the secret behind this magnificent mani!

I was cleaning and reorganizing my makeup stash Saturday. I was transferring my NYX Jumbo Eyeliner in 'Milk' to a tin (I use it as a pre-shadow primer, and it's just easier to use in the tin) when I accidentally got some of the eyeliner underneath my fingernails. I wiped away the excess liner from around my fingers, and I thought, "Dang. It looks just like I had a fancy French Manicure."

Then it hit me: I could use eyeliner underneath each of my nails ON PURPOSE to replicate the classic French Mani look! I grabbed a smaller white kohl eyeliner and used it to gently color the back of my nails; I just gently 'lined' my nails, following each nail's natural curve as I went along. Less than a minute later, I had flawless French tips.

It's SO easy. When you're finished 'lining' the nails, use a paper towel to wipe off any excess liner that remains on your fingers. You can follow up with a coat of clear polish, or you can buff your nails to a light shine.

Will your eyeliner manicure nails last forever? No. You can get about a day out of them before the liner wears off. This little beauty hack doesn't have the staying power of paint or acrylics, but it's a fast shortcut that helps you fake your way to a perfect French Mani without the hassle of polish.
