I Will Never, Ever Apologize for My Love of Waffle House [PHOTOS]

I love Waffle House. I really love Waffle House. I really, seriously, unrelentingly love La Casa de Waffle. I know I can't be the only one...

Y'all, I am crazy about Waffle House. I don't eat there as often as I should, but absence makes the heart grow fonder--and in turn, I appreciate my Waffle House even more. Man, I love Waffle House so much that if Jesus came back today, I would be like, "Y'all have Pecan Waffles in heaven, right? If not, hold up a minute..."

At Waffle House, you can get an All-Star Breakfast for like seven dollars. SEVEN DOLLARS. You get eggs, toast, hashbrowns (or grits), sausage (or ham or bacon), and a waffle for SEVEN DOLLARS. Look--it's so much food it can't even fit into one picture.

JUST LOOK AT THIS BEAUTY: a perfect Pecan Waffle.

Pecan Waffles are transcendent. It's light and fluffy with the added crunch of the roasted pecans. It's sweet and slightly salty, and I could eat fifty of them all day errrryday.

As much as it pains the die-hard Bama fan in me to say so, Guz Malzahn knows what's up more than Saban does. Dude celebrates a Tiger victory by taking his wife to dinner at Waffle House. LOVE IT.

And love my Waffle House. Before our daughter was born, my husband and I had a tradition of our own: we ate breakfast at Waffle House every Sunday morning during College Football Season. Now that Dolly's old enough, we can put her in a booster seat and nab a cozy booth at our local Waffle House and start a new tradition.

I want our family to enjoy Waffle House Sundays, and we're going to keep the tradition alive until she graduates from high school--and even then, her dad and I will visit at least once a month so we can get our Waffle on as a family. For now, I'll enjoy seeing my little bitty have fun at Waffle House--drinking cups of half & half and smuding her chocolate chip waffle all over the place.
