Darius Rucker is reuniting with his Hootie & the Blowfish bandmates! The '90s pop-rock group has announced a reunion tour and plans for new music in 2019.

Hootie & the Blowfish announced their reunion on Today on Monday morning (Dec. 3). The group -- Rucker, Mark Bryan, Dean Felber and Jim "Soni" Sonefeld -- came together while they were students at the University of South Carolina, playing shows and touring "for years" before signing their first record deal," Rucker recalls in a press release.

Hootie & the Blowfish's 2019 Group Therapy Tour will begin on May 30 in Virginia Beach, Va., and run through the summer; they'll wrap things up in their hometown of Columbia, S.C., on Sept. 13. Fellow '90s rocker Barenaked Ladies will join as special guests.

Tickets for the 2019 Group Therapy Tour will go on sale to the general public on Dec. 7. Various pre-sales are available to Citi cardholders, Hootie & the Blowfish fan club members and Barenaked Ladies fans until that time.

In addition to their 2019 tour plans, Hootie & the Blowfish have signed with UMG Nashville -- Rucker's label as a solo country artist -- to release new music. The record will be their sixth together.
