Help Your Community By Giving Blood This Weekend
It's amazing when community organizations and businesses step up to help those in need. This weekend, Plum Grove Baptist Church will partner with the American Red Cross to help our community.
Saturday, April 10th, 2021, Plum Grove Baptist Church will host a blood drive with the American Red Cross from 10 am-4 pm in Tuscaloosa. The blood drive will be held at 2822 Fosters Ferry Road, Tuscaloosa, AL, in the church Development and Outreach Center.
There are some dope incentives for donors or this blood drive. Amazon gift cards, Walmart gift cards, and tickets to the Magic City Classic!
Plum Grove Baptist Church's Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Tyshawn Gardner is "committed to strengthening our community and helping meet hospital and patient needs through blood donations. When asked about the event he said "This blood drive is our way of giving staff, colleagues, and neighbors an opportunity to help save lives.”
According to an official press release, the American Red Cross said that donors with all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, A negative, and B negative.
In addition to the incentives mentioned above, donors would also receive a chance to win $500 and a trip for 1 winner and 3 friends to the Indy/500 Race.
