Heat Advisory For Wednesday July 10^th

Another hot day in store for West Alabama!  Today temperatures will range between 93 and 97 which could lead to heat index values that could exceed 105 even reaching 107.  You can expect a 30% chance of showers in the afternoon until the evening hours.

Heat related illnesses are real and very dangerous.  Please be sure stay aware of the temperatures.  A great way to reduce your risk of heat related illnesses is to drink plenty of fluids, protect yourself against sunburn, wear lightweight clothing, save strenuous activity for the cooler parts of the day, take breaks, get in the AC, and never leave anyone in a parked car.
