Harvey now heads towards Alabama and James Spann predicts most areas will receive 2-4 inches of rain Thursday/Friday.

From the desk of Bobby Best....Moisture from Harvey is now starting to move into our Southwestern counties now and rainfall will continue to move Northward over night... By tomorrow we can expect to be in a totally tropical rain saturated environment and remain in that through Friday into early Saturday, at the earliest...

The main period for us to really watch though will be Thursday into Friday, as there is a VERY low risk that we could see a spin up tornado or two, but this is a low risk threat. We could also see some flash flooding across our entire region, but especially in low lying areas and areas that typically are easy to flood!
