On Wednesday (August 30), the synth-pop chanteuse returned with the music video for “Bad at Love,” an emotionally-charged display of runaway life offset by a desert vista.

Likely a continuation of what preceded in “Now or Never”—which closed with Halsey shredding her cerulean locks after her bolt for freedom—the 22-year-old ignores her bad omens, again, when she and her well-dressed squadron hatch another clean getaway.

Overall, “Bad at Love” signals the hopeless fountain kingdom singer's diabolical genius.
