There's no questioning the talent that the Alabama Crimson Tide has had in recent years to go to the NFL. The only question is where do they rank amongst their peers.

It's one thing to be recognized as the best by fans, its another to get that recognition by your competition. Every year the NFL Network asks players from across the league to rank their top 100 players. The network compiles the lists and turns it into great offseason content.

It's not much of a surprise that several former Alabama players have made this list with all the team and individual success they earned in college. From national and SEC titles to Heismans and being drafted high, former Bama stars rank among the best.

Coming in at No. 69 on the NFL's Top 100 list as voted on by the players is none other than former Alabama Crimson Tide and current Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly. Kelly is a two-time pro bowler and a 2020 second team all-pro. While at Alabama he was a part of three national championships, named an unanimous All American, and First team All- SEC to go along with other offensive line awards. Ryan Kelly has turned the Colts into favorites to make the playoffs every year like Jeff Saturday once did for organization.

The No. 68 ranked player in the NFL is another Alabama great, Joshua Jacobs. Jacobs was named to his first pro bowl in the only his second season in 2020 and is a former first round pick by the now Las Vegas Raiders. While at Alabama, he helped Bama to a national title in 2017 and won the SEC Championship MVP that same year. Jacobs managed to have great success in college despite splitting carries with another great NFL running back in Damien Harris and will have to do the same this upcoming season as the Raiders signed former Bama running back Kenyan Drake this past offseason.

There are so many former Alabama greats in the NFL right now, many of them played on the same team. This upcoming season will be Calvin Ridley's first without fellow former Bama wide receiver Julio Jones. As Jones was traded to Tennessee Titans this offseason. Despite playing with Julio his whole career in the NFL, Calvin was still named the 65th ranked player in the league this year. Prior to joining the league, Ridley was a two-time national champion, a two-time SEC champion, and a two-time All SEC selection. This past season he was named a second team all-pro. Now as the top receiver in the Atlanta, he has a chance to put hall of fame type numbers.

As of now they have only released number 41-100 on the list, there should be more former Alabama stars to make the list. Guys like Derrick Henry, Minkah Fitzpatrick, and Julio Jones are expected to appear in the top 40 or higher.
