Joey Fatone runs his mouth and we get a B101.7 Flashback Friday Spotlight!

Last week, the former member of 'N Sync shattered the hopes of fans in a matter of seconds, as he crushed the idea of another reunion. In a recent interview with the Huffington Post, Fatone commented on the brief reunion at the MTV VMA's last year and the possibility of it happening again. His response was very direct, by saying, "I don’t know if it’s ever going to happen again. I don’t know whether or not something will ever happen again, but again you always say never say never because that happened. That was never gonna happen and all of a sudden it did happen. At this moment in time is anything gonna happen? Absolutely, 100 percent no… at this moment.”

This week's spotlight reunites us with the group signature hit song, "Bye Bye Bye." In 2000, the song peaked at #4 on the Billboard chart and a year later was nominated for the "Record of the Year" Grammy. U2 would win the award for "Beautiful Day."

When someone says 2000, you can't help but think of the great fear of the Y2K crash! Yes, the massive fear all of computers would freeze up because 99 was the last recognized year. This would be the cause global problems for the masses at midnight on January 1, 2000. It was going to be the end of the world! I remember spending the night at the radio station waiting for midnight and it hit. Nothing changed. Hmm, we're still here. Okay. Well, Happy New Year and let's go home. That's about how all of that happened.

Let's get to the spotlight song 'Bye Bye Bye.' Go ahead and jump and do the dance. You know you want to!
