This week, I did quite a bit of digging around for a song to feature. What to play? I could go with something rhythmic, like I usually do. Hey, the dancy stuff plays right into the let's party because it's the weekend type feeling we have at 5 on a Friday afternoon! But, this week looking for more 'oh wow' nostalgia in a rock direction.

Alternative rock was so big in the 90s, with quite a few groups who rolled through the decade with tons of success. Bands like Green Day, Counting Crows and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Then you have the groups who had 1 or 2 monster songs on the radio and then faded away. One example is Eve 6. In 1998, the Southern California group surfaced in the mainstream thanks to the tremendous popularity from their breakout song 'Inside Out.' The group would get into 2K with one more hit with 'Here's to the Night.' And, the end. The band broke up in 2004, but they did reunite in 2007. However, the guys haven't been able to recreate the success from their early days.

Join me for this flashback that rocks! 'Inside Out' is a great song, don't you agree?
