A – Amphitheatre; the Tuscaloosa Amphitheatre totally rocks. Every show I have ever been to has been incredible.
B – Bryant-Denny Stadium; this spot is a must for a perfect Bama selfie.
C – Children’s Hands-On Museum; endless hours of fun for kids of all ages in Downtown Tuscaloosa.
D – Dreamland BBQ; all I am going to say is ribs and white bread. Done Son!
E – Egan’s Bar; great drinks plus live music. That’s a win right on the strip.
F – FIVE Tuscaloosa; you can’t go wrong when you stop into FIVE. The happy hour slaps.
G – Government Plaza; lots of green space with accessible parking. If you are going for an event or enjoying the outdoors, it’s a perfect spot.
H – Heritage House; an eclectic space that I absolutely adore. The cranberry muffins are insane.
I – Ingram Farms; always find local fruits and vegetables there. Plus, it is the best price in life on ice cream cones.
J – Joyride Tuscaloosa; nine times out of ten while on the UA campus, you have seen the Joyride of Tuscaloosa zip past. There might have been some sorority girls wrapped in a blanket drinking their high-priced latte’s or folks trying to cut down their steps to the stadium. Lord knows I’m thankful for them.
K – Kentuck Art Center and Festival; technically on the Tuscaloosa and Northport line, but everyone in West Alabama loves it. The artist in me couldn’t leave it off the list.
L – Lake Tuscaloosa; known for its year-round fishing.
M – Murphy-Collins House & African-American Museum; this is a must-stop for a deep dive into Tuscaloosa's history.
N – Nick’s In The Sticks; the best meal ever! You can feel the history as you dine and enjoy a juicy T-bone steak.
O - Old Tavern Museum; entirely worth the stop to get the inside scoop on Tuscaloosa's early history.
P – Paul W. Bryant Museum; a great stop to get the complete history of Alabama football.
Q – Hoo’s Q; my to-go meal is cubed pork, extra Q’s sauce, baked beans, and peanut butter pie. [I just got super hungry]
R – Rama Jama’s; the best cheeseburger in the world can be found there. No Lie!
S – Stillman College; an outstanding historically black college right in our city which was founded in 1876.
T – Tuscaloosa River Walk; this is where you can take a stroll along the Black Warrior River's southern bank. Gorgeous views!
U – U-Perk; three words for you – Breakfast All Day! I dream about the Marble Mocha Macchiato.
V – Veracruz; you can’t go wrong with the grilled chicken jumbo burrito.
W – Waysider; the legends have had a meal here. Everything is amazing. You can’t go wrong in this historic spot.
X – [hear me out] You can get an X (strike) at Bowlero; bowling is super fun.
Y – Yellowhammer drinks from Gallettes; I’m hooked, that’s all!
Z – Zaxby’s; it makes this list because every time I go, the line is down the street. By the way, do you have a spot for Z?
