Druid City Music Hall Releases Detailed Renovations

A PR release was given out by Big Spring Entertainment for the upcoming renovation of Druid City Music Hall.

Tuscaloosa, AL – Alabama-based concert promotions company Big Spring Entertainment (BSE) and Druid City Music Hall (DCMH) have announced a major renovation and expansion of the historic Tuscaloosa music venue. A rite of passage for many artists, DCMH has hosted everyone from Luke Bryan and Eric Church to Bassnectar and Breaking Benjamin. Additionally, the hall hosts private events such as wedding receptions, university functions, and corporate meetings. “This venue has been a part of the Tuscaloosa and Alabama music scene for decades,” said Bill Propst founder of BSE. “We are honored to be part of the history and we aim to elevate Druid City Music Hall throughout the music industry. The renovations and addition will make this a premier music hall and must-stop for national touring artists.” Brian Beckerman, who oversees operations for all BSE venues added, “We are upgrading everything! There will be new a new stage, sound and lights, artist lounge and dressing rooms, bathrooms and bars, as well as a balcony – you’ll barely recognize the new venue once it’s complete. As a former tour manager, I have seen a lot of music venues in this country, and we are combining some of their best features to create this amazing space.” Beckerman added, “Providing touring artists a pleasant and professional experience from the moment they arrive on site to when their bus pulls out is the goal. We knew major upgrades had to be made to get the attention of more prominent artists.” DCMH also expects to increase its capacity to approximately 1,000 patrons with its expansion.
